Installation au Japon d'un système de brassage à quatre cuves d'une capacité de 2000 litres

2000l brewery equipment (4)

Détail du projet :

Location:Japon

The demand for high-quality craft beer in Japan has been growing steadily, and breweries are investing in advanced equipment to improve both efficiency and consistency. The client purchased a complete 2000L brewery equipment and 500 stainless steel kegs from our company.

At the heart of this project is the four-vessel brewhouse, which includes a mash tun, lauter tun, kettle, and whirlpool. The configuration enables true parallel brewing steps, where lautering, boiling, and whirlpooling can take place simultaneously. This not only shortens the overall brewing cycle but also improves brewhouse efficiency and throughput. The dedicated lauter tun ensures clearer wort with higher extract yield, while the separation of functions reduces energy consumption and mechanical stress on the system. With steam heating, solenoid valves, automatic grain removal, and a large heat exchanger, the system ensures precise control of every stage, from mashing to wort cooling.

To complement this, the system is equipped with a versatile control solution that can be supplied in manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic formats. Manual control suits brewers who prefer hands-on operation and flexibility. Semi-automatic integrates automation for critical steps while leaving room for operator oversight. For breweries seeking maximum efficiency, the fully automated option provides precise temperature regulation, automated valve management, and real-time monitoring, ensuring consistent results with reduced labor input.

Principales configurations des équipements de brasserie :

  • Malt miller 800-1000 Kg/h, with magnets
  • 2000L 4 Vessels Brewhouse(MT+LT+BK+WT), with solenoid valve, automatc grain remove
  • 4000L Hot Water tank
  • 2000L*4 + 8000L*2 Fermentation Tanks/Unitanks, 3 separate cooling area with one temperature contoller
  • 4000L Glycol Water Tank + 10 HP Chiller
  • Control System
  • 20L*500 Beer kegs

Why Choose a Four-Vessel Brewhouse?

Traditional brewery systems are often configured with two or three vessels, combining certain steps to reduce equipment cost. However, this approach can limit efficiency and flexibility. A four-vessel brewhouse separates the brewing process into four dedicated functions:

Mash Tun (MT) – Where starch conversion takes place.

Lauter Tun (LT) – Specialized for wort filtration and separation of spent grains.

Brew Kettle (BK) – Responsible for boiling the wort and sterilization.

Whirlpool (WT) – Used for trub separation and wort clarification after boiling.

By dividing these processes, the system allows true parallel brewing steps, meaning lautering, boiling, and whirlpooling can happen simultaneously. This results in:

Shorter Brewing Cycles – More brews per day with the same equipment.

Higher Brewhouse Efficiency – Better use of time and resources.

Improved Wort Quality – The dedicated lauter tun ensures clearer wort and higher extract yield.

Reduced Energy Consumption – Separate functions mean less mechanical stress and optimized energy usage.

For growing breweries, this design offers both operational precision and scalability, making it ideal for professional beer production.

Advanced Features of the 2000L System

The Japanese installation includes multiple features designed to optimize production:

Steam Heating – Reliable and efficient temperature control.

Automatic Grain Removal – Reduces labor time and increases convenience.

Solenoid Valves & Heat Exchanger – Ensure precise process control from mashing to wort cooling.

Flexible Control System – Available in manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated formats:

Manual: Hands-on operation for brewers who prefer flexibility.

Semi-Automatic: Automation for critical steps with operator oversight.

Fully Automatic: Real-time monitoring, automated valve management, and consistent production with reduced labor.

  • All tank interiors are mirror polished, Ra 0.4um.

Questions About Building a Commercial Brewery

When preparing to build a microbrewery, many problems may arise from the design stage to the customer’s first sip of beer. Brewing a batch of craft beer requires many steps, including precise weight, precise time, and almost obsessive scientific methods. When you adjust any process of brewing beer, it will affect the final product (beer).
